The PSNI has begun a murder investigation after a charred body was found at the back of a Masonic Hall in Linenhall Street in Limavady, Co Derry.

It is not known if the dead person is a man or a woman.  Police want anyone who might have noticed something suspicious near the murder scene to contact them.

Deputy Mayor of Limavady Jack Rankin said he was disgusted at the killing.
