The proceeds from the sale of a car found by the police following the murders of a Catholic man and his son near Dungannon three years ago are to go to charity.
The Ford Cortina was discovered substantially burnt out after Mr Patrick Shields and his teenage son, Diarmuid, were shot dead by the UVF in their home at Lisnagleer in January 1993.
At Cookstown, Co Tyrone, Magistrates' court yesterday, Magistrate Mr Maurice McHugh directed that the car be sold and the proceeds sent to a multiple sclerosis charity.
