The trial of Mr Michael Boyle (48), of Tyrconnell Road, Dublin, has been fixed for January 6th next year at the Old Bailey in London. He has denied attempting to murder Mr Tony Brindle (31), on September 20th last year.

Earlier this month the hearing was aborted before any evidence was called after Mr Boyle changed his legal representation.

Mr Boyle further denies two counts of possessing firearms with intent to endanger life.

Mr David Roads (51), of Shirley, Surrey, who also has an address at South Norwood, London, also denies the murder attempt. He further denies eight firearms offences, possessing an explosive substance, handling stolen goods and possessing a false instrument.
