LONDON - Ms Christine Hamilton, wife of the former Conservative minister at the centre of the cash for questions row, yesterday defended using House of Commons notepaper to drum up support for a British Turkish Parliamentary Group.

Her actions prompted a complaint from a Labour MP, Mr John Home Robertson, who referred the matter to the leader of the Commons, Ms Ann Taylor.
