A move to wind up Ards Football Club was withdrawn in the High Court in Belfast yesterday.
A petition brought on behalf of accountants Russell McConville Associates was dismissed after an assurance that £5,000 owed to the firm would be paid.
A solicitor for the petitioners asked the Bankruptcy Master to dismiss the petition and he did so, making no order as to costs.
