Mark Desmond (25), of no fixed address, was yesterday fined £425 and banned from driving for two years after he admitted having no motor insurance in February last year. Dublin District Court heard he parked a car on a footpath in Ballyfermot. He was asked by Garda Dermot O'Connell to produce his driving documents and failed to do so.
