A motorcyclist was killed today when he lost control of his motorbike.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the fatal crash on Military Road, at the Wicklow Gap, at 10.30am, to come forward.
The victim, a man aged in his 30s, was seriously injured and taken to Loughlinstown hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Forensic collision investigators are at the scene and diversions are in place.
