A man has been killed in a motorcycle crash in Co Donegal.
The man, who is understood to be an off-duty Garda in his 40s, died after his motorbike was involved in a collision with a car at Dromore at around 5pm.
The driver of the car was injured, but not seriously.
Gardaí at Letterkenny are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
The man is the 230 thperson to die on the State's roads this year. Of those, 19 were motorcyclists and one was a pillion passenger, according to Garda statistics.
