Motorcyclist dies in accident

A man was killed in an accident near Dungannon, Co Tyrone, yesterday. Mr Joseph Kirk (53), from Granville, Dungannon, died after his motorcycle struck a lamp post. No other vehicle was involved in the crash, at 5.20 a.m. at a junction of Old Ballygawley Road and Newell Road.
