A mother and her two daughters, aged seven and two, died following a fire at a farmhouse in Co Kilkenny yesterday morning.
The blaze broke out at the rented property near the village of Windgap close to the Kilkenny-Tipperary border shortly before 9am yesterday.
Postmortems are being carried out on the bodies at St Luke`s Hospital in Kilkenny this afternoon.
A garda investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing but It is not thought to have been started maliciously.
