New Delhi - At least 85 people have died in rain-related accidents in the past two weeks in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, the Press Trust of India said yesterday. Most of the deaths occurred due to lightning strikes or collapsed houses. The weather department has warned of more rains in Tamil Nadu, a usually parched region where monsoons are welcomed despite the accompanying tragedy every year.
