Missing Dublin man's bag found in Cork

Personal items belonging to a man missing from his home in Dublin have turned up on a street in Cork city centre.

Personal items belonging to a man missing from his home in Dublin have turned up on a street in Cork city centre.

A bag and mobile phone belonging to Mr Eoin Green were found by a passer-by on Washington Street yesterday, gardaí said today.

Mr Greene (24) is missing from Carnew Street, Dublin 7, since September 1st. He was last seen leaving for work.

He is described as being six foot tall, of stocky build, with a fair complexion. When last seen, he was wearing a grey Adidas shirt with horizontal stripes at the bottom, navy trousers and black runners. He also wears glasses from time to time.

Gardaí have asked anybody who can help them in the case to contact the Anglesea Street station in Cork (021-4522000) or the Bridewell in Dublin (01-6668200).
