Moscow - The Russian-US crew on the troubled Mir space station prepared yesterday for a space walk to dismantle a solar panel which will later be replaced by a new one.
The cosmonauts hope to dismantle an outdated solar panel on the Kvant scientific module. It will then be replaced during another planned space walk on Thursday.
