London - British cabinet ministers last night decided to follow the lead of the Prime Minister, Mr Tony Blair, and not take their full pay rise next year, when a tight squeeze on public sector salaries is expected. Earlier yesterday Mr Blair said he had no intention of taking his "entitlement" - a 40 per cent or £40,000-plus pay-rise next year which would have netted him £143,860.
