The Minister smiles as St Patrick and the mummer slay St George, and a doctor tends the wounds in the courtyard of the National Museum at Collins Barracks, Dublin. Sile de Valera, Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands, was publicising RTE television's folklore and heritage series Hidden Treasures. There will be a lecture in the museum on Saturday week by Jim Ledwidth of Fermanagh District Council on Mummers And The Mummering Tradition In Fermanagh And West Ulster in association with the series. Tonight's lecture there is on Thatchers And Thatchering.
