A tourism and heritage centre was opened in a refurbished block of 19th century houses in Clones, Co Monaghan, by the Minister for Tourism and Trade, Mr Enda Kenny, yesterday. The International Fund for Ireland contributed more than £150,000 towards the restoration of the Ulster Canal Stores under its Border Towns and Villages Scheme.
