Minister meets pig producers

The Minister of State for Agriculture, Mr Ned O'Keeffe, last night assured pig producers that every effort was being made to help resolve the crisis in the market. Mr O'Keeffe told representatives of the industry at a meeting in Virginia, Co Cavan, that the Minister for Agriculture, Mr Walsh, would raise producers' problems at a Council of Ministers meeting in Brussels next month.
