A search-and-rescue helicopter winchman who has completed his 500th mission has been congratulated by the Minister for the Marine, Dr Woods.
Mr Allan Clapp, of the Irish Marine Emergency Service (IMES) at Shannon, has been presented with a letter of tribute from the Minister following his 500th rescue operation on July 17th.
