Milk super levy could reach £14m

Farmers could face a milk superlevy well in excess of last years £14 million, the Minister for Agriculture warned yesterday. Milk deliveries for April; July were about 5.7 per in excess of the national quota, according to Mr Yates. He urged farmers to plan their milk output to avoid super levy problems at the end of the year.
