University College Galway has been criticised for providing laboratory mice for a mouse-racing festival in Ballymacward, Co Galway, today.
Mr Billy Kelleher TD, calling for the cancellation of the event, said: "I was surprised to see a newspaper report that University College Galway is providing the mice for the fundraising event."
