Culiacan - Gunmen yesterday shot dead a senior police officer in the northern Mexican state of Sinaloa, known as a bastion of drug-trafficking in Mexico, authorities said.
Alfredo Roman, co-ordinator of police investigations in Sinaloa, died after gunmen fired AK47 rifles at his car.
