Two men are being questioned by gardai after heroin estimated to be worth €200,000 was seized in Co Cork.

Two men are being questioned by gardai after heroin estimated to be worth €200,000 was seized in Co Cork.

Gardai said a 34-year-old man was arrested on Friday evening while a 28-year-old man was arrested yesterday.

Both are being detained at Bandon garda station. The drugs were found on the town's Clonakilty Road on Friday at 2pm.

A garda spokesman would not give details of the exact location of the find but said the two men were both known to gardai.
