Three men are being questioned after police seized guns near Belfast.

They were arrested by officers who stopped a car travelling between the city and Lisburn, Co Antrim. A number of firearms were recovered, a Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesman confirmed.

The suspects were detained as part of a crackdown on serious crime, rather than terrorism, in Greater Belfast and taken to a special holding centre in Antrim.
