After an extensive investigation based in Carrickmacross Garda station, Co Monaghan, a number of men have appeared in court on separate vehicle theft charges in recent days. At Dunleer District Court yesterday, Mr Damien Glavin (33), of Malahide Road, Dublin, was remanded on bail to appear in Carrickmacross District Court on October 12th. The defendant was charged with the theft of a car valued at £16,000 in Malahide on May 23rd.
Mr Lee Tobin (18), of Clonsilla, Dublin, charged with the theft of a car valued at £16,000 in Rathgar last March, was remanded in custody with consent to bail to Carrickmacross court on Monday.
