A medical equipment manufacturer plans to create up to 50 jobs at new premises in Craigavon, Co Armagh, it was revealed today.

Lir-Med, which produces equipment for surgical procedures, will initially employ 10 people at its new premises, with a further 40 expected over the next two years.

The company begins operating next month.

Property agent Andrew Gawley, who was involved in the deal, said: “The new unit offers Lir-Med a modern, well located base within Mid-Ulster’s premier commercial area close to occupiers such as Moy Park, Galen, and various leading car dealerships.”
