The National Training and Development Institute will introduce media training for people with disabilities. The media-access programme will be run with Ballyfermot Senior College and will enable successful candidates to move on to third-level courses or jobs in the industry.

The 18-month course runs from April 1998 to December 1999 and includes modules in print journalism, radio and TV production, information technology, multi-media production and communications. It is free and has been developed by the NTDI with EU support.
