Sentencing of a 59-year-old Co Meath man who admitted sexually assaulting his daughter from 1987 to 1990 was adjourned at Trim Circuit Court yesterday because he was ill in hospital. Last week, the court was told the girl, now 17 years old, believed her father had stopped loving her when he stopped assaulting her.
