Clare hurling boss Mike McNamara will hand Championship debuts to three Newmarket-on-Fergus players for Sunday’s Munster SHC semi-final clash with Tipperary at Semple Stadium.

James McInerney comes in at full back for the injured Conor Cooney, with Conor Ryan slotting in at left wing forward. The third debutant, David Barrett, will line out at full forward.

Gerry O’Grady has shaken off an ankle injury and will start at left corner back, with Alan Markham coming in for Gerry Quinn in the half back line.
