McDonald's says it will continue to sell Irish beef products in its nine Northern Ireland restaurants and its 25 in the Republic.
A statement said: "McDonald's hamburgers are 100 per cent pure Irish beef, using only prime cuts of boneless beef - lean flank and forequarter - in which BSE has never been detected."
