Father Joe McVeigh, of Belfast, celebrated a memorial Mass at the Republican Plot, Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin, yesterday for those who died during the Civil War "and all victims of British misrule".

Ms Tess Kearney, of the National Graves Association, delivered an oration.

The attendance included Mr Kevin Boland, the former government minister and nephew of Harry Boland, who was killed in 1922.
