Gardaí are investigating another shooting in Limerick.
Yesterday evening, two gunmen wearing balaclavas burst into a house in O'Malley Park, Southill and accosted the occupant, demanding to see a man.
When they discovered he was not in the house, they went to a second house, but the man was not there.
The gunmen then returned to the first house and fired three shots, at least two of which entered the house.
There were no injuries, and the gunmen fled the scene in what is believed to have been a blue or silver Ford Focus.
