A 19-year-old man was yesterday treated at Cork University Hospital after he lost a finger in an accident while jumping on a bridge near Jury's Hotel in Cork city yesterday morning. Gardai were called to investigate after a passer-by found the finger near the bridge at around 10 a.m.
He presented at Cork University Hospital at around 9 a.m. after waking up to find a finger missing.
