Gardaí arrested a man (38) carrying two swords in Dublin late last night.
The man was arrested after gardaí were called to a domestic incident at Henrietta House, Dublin 1, shortly before midnight.
Gardaí said the man was standing in the roadway outside the flat complex in an agitated state and armed with two swords. Gardaí tried to talk to the man, but he was arrested a short time later.
No one was injured, although a patrol car was damaged. The man is being detained at the Bridewell Garda Station.
