Man treated after shooting in Belfast city

A  man (29) is being treated in a Belfast hospital today after what police says was a paramilitary-style shooting.

A  man (29) is being treated in a Belfast hospital today after what police says was a paramilitary-style shooting.

The attack is thought to have happened at around 10 p.m. in the Forth River area in the north of the city.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the thigh.

Detectives at Antrim Road have appealed for information.
