Gardaí in Tallaght are investigating an incident in which a sports utility vehicle struck a man.
The pedestrian, aged in his 30s, was struck by the vehicle yesterday at Kiltipper Way, Dublin 24, at about 3.30pm.
According to gardaí, the man was taken by ambulance to Tallaght hospital and has been transferred to Beaumont, where his condition is described as serious.
