Gardai in Dublin are investigating a fatal traffic accident near the port tunnel today.
A man died after he was struck by a lorry at a slip road on the M1 at around 1.30 p.m.
The man was taken by ambulance to Beaumont hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
His name will not be released until all next of kin have been informed.
