Gardai in Galway are continuing to question a man arrested yesterday morning in connection with a shooting incident in the city on Friday night.
A 21-year-old pizza delivery man was hit in the hand when a man wearing a balaclava fired into his van on Whitestrand Road in Salthill.
Two other men in the vehicle at the time were uninjured in the attack.
A 42-year-old man who was later arrested in connection with the incident in the Rahoon area of the city.
The injured man was taken to the city's University Hospital for treatment.
