A man in his 30s is recovering in Waterford Regional Hospital after being stabbed in the leg in Waterford city centre in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses to the stabbing that occurred at Green Street shortly before 3.15 a.m. to assist them in their investigations.
The scene of the stabbing was preserved and forensically examined .
