A man has been taken to hospital following a stabbing in Sligo early this morning.
The man, in his 20s, was stabbed at around 4am at a house on the Old Bundoran Road in the town.
He was taken to Sligo General Hospital where his condition is thought to be serious. Gardaí sealed off the area for a forensic technical examination to take place.
