A Dublin man in his twenties was stabbed five times in the back and once in the leg as he walked in the Phoenix Park yesterday evening. He was taken to the Mater Hospital, where his injuries were said not to be life threatening. The attack took place beside the Wellington Monument shortly after 7 p.m.
