A man was shot three times as he ran from his house in Coolock north Dublin last night.
The man was confronted by two men as he arrived at his home on Clonshaugh Drive shortly before 11 p.m.
They chased him out of the house and onto the road before firing three shots from a handgun.
The victim was taken to Beaumont Hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening,
