A man is recovering in hospital today after being shot in what appeared to be a paramilitary-style attack in Co Tyrone.
The man (31) was shot in a leg late last night in the Springhill Park area of Strabane. His condition is not thought to be serious.
Police said there has been a resurgence in the number of such shootings in recent weeks, with a number of attacks in republican and loyalist areas across the North.
