A man is being treated in hospital after a shooting in Dundalk, Co Louth this morning.
A Garda spokesman said a 51-year-old man received what a gunshot wound to his leg at Fatima Court at 4.55am.
He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardai are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the incident, the spokesman said.
