A murder investigation is under way in Limerick city today after a man in his 30s was shot dead this morning.
The man was shot as he was riding a motorbike at 10.40am in the Thomond Gate area of the city.
The victim, who name has not yet been released, is a local man with three children, according to reports. His killing is believed to be related to a feud in the city.
The scene has been preserved and the State Pathologist notified.
