The PSNI are investigating an overnight incident in which a man sustained serious head injuries in County Tyrone.
The 31 year-old man was found lying in a garden outside a house in Coalisland at around 10pm last night.
Police said it is not clear how he was injured or if he was the victim of a crime.
He was rushed from the property at Canal Meadows to hospital.
Police said the cause of the injuries are not yet known and have appealed for information in order to establish how the man sustained his injuries.
