A man caught selling cannabis in Dublin woodlands has been jailed for three years by Judge Pat McCartan. The seizure was part of a Garda investigation into drug dealing in Santry Woods, in the north of the city. Michael Neeson (27), of Coultry Drive, and Martin Brennan (36), of Balcurris Road, both Ballymun, were convicted of having £910 of cannabis for supply in June 1997.

Neeson was jailed for three years. Brennan's three-year sentence was suspended and he was bound to the peace for 10 years.
