Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a man’s body at a house in Co Laois.
The 48-year-old's remains were found in the front room of a dwelling in Ballickmoyler at about 8pm yesterday.
It is unclear how the man died or how long his body had remained in the house before it was discovered.
The house has been preserved for a technical examination and the State Pathologist is due to attend the scene this morning.
Gardaí said the man’s name was being withheld until relatives had been contacted.
