An employee of the Eastern Health Board who stole hundreds of pounds worth of items, including bed linen and pots and pans, has been remanded on bail to November 14th.

Paul Fagan's arrest resulted from a wider investigation by gardai into the theft of £23,000 worth of the board's property.

Fagan (31), with an address at the Iveagh Trust, Kevin Street, Dublin, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to six sample charges covering offences of theft and forgery in October, 1991.
