Man remanded on murder charge

A Dublin father of two, accused of murdering his estranged wife, was remanded in custody yesterday

A Dublin father of two, accused of murdering his estranged wife, was remanded in custody yesterday. Mr Paul O'Donohoe (42), of Aberdeen Street, Dublin, is accused of murdering Mrs Miriam O'Donohoe between January 24th and 26th at her home in Ashfield Gardens, Mulhuddart.

Det Insp Derek Byrne told Dublin District Court the accused was arrested the previous night and brought to Finglas Garda station, where he was charged with murder.

The defendant was remanded in custody for a week.
