An unemployed painter who appeared in court yesterday charged with the murder of a man who was found stabbed to death in Enniskillen on Wednesday has expressed his "profound regret" at the manner in which his alleged victim died. Mr Liam Wilson (28), of Old Henry Road, Enniskillen, appeared at Strabane Magistrates' Court charged with the murder of Mr Anthony Woods (55).

The magistrate, Mr Brian McElholm, remanded him in custody to Maghaberry prison until March 13th.
